How long have you been in the Music Industry? 

SINCE 1999

What inspired you to go into the Entertainment Industry?

 THE FACT THAT WE CAN PUT OUR OWN LANGUAGE AND CULTURE TO CREATE OUR OWN UNIQUE STYLE OF MUSIC

Your Look is unique to several Nigerian male Artist. What would you say was inspired the Look/style you have created?

 I DON'T SEEM TO FOLLOW REGULAR TRENDS. THE CREATIVE ABILITY TO MIX THINGS UP MAKES ME STAND OUT, SO I WOULD SAY MY CREATIVITY IS WHAT INSPIRES ME. 

His launch into the Entertainment Industry -

STARTING UP MUSIC AS AT 1999 WAS A BIG CHALLENGE. AS I WAS VERY YOUNG WITHOUT ANY SUPPORT OR ENCOURAGEMENT AND THE INDUSTRY WAS NOT AS BIG AS IT IS NOW. DJs WERE VERY RELUCTANT IN PLAYING NIGERIAN HIP HOP MUSIC AND FOREIGN ARTISTES WERE PREFERRED TO THE NIGERIA ARTISTES. I HAD TO TRAVEL FROM OYO TO LAGOS TO PROMOTE MY MUSIC WHICH WAS VERY DIFFICULT AND RISKY. I RELEASED A SONG CALLED ISE-AGBE IN 1999, WHICH GOT ME A  LITTLE RECOGNITION HERE AND THERE. THEN IN 2000/2001, I WAS THE 1ST NIGERIAN ARTISTE TO RELEASE A MAKOSA SONG CALLED 'MEDUSA MAKOSA'. THE SONG WAS VERY POPULAR BECAUSE I MOVED TO LAGOS AT THAT TIME, AND IT GOT ME SHOWS PERFORMING ALONGSIDE THE BIG NAMES SUCH AS 'PLATAZION BOIZ, AZADUS, RUF RUGGED N RAW, DEF OCLAN' E.T.C  JUST AT THE PEAK OF THINGS I HAD TO LEAVE NIGERIA TO FURTHER MY EDUCATION ABROAD. AFTER A FEW YEARS IN THE UK, I RELEASED A SINGLE CALLED PU'YANGA. THE SONG WAS A BIG PUSH FOR ME BACK TO THE INDUSTRY, WHICH I THINK WAS ONE OF THE BEST SONGS THAT CAME OUT AROUND THAT TIME. PU'YANGA ALSO GOT NOMINATIONS FOR SEVERAL AWARDS IN NIGERIA AND ABROAD.

Mine.. just kidding, I listen to all genre of music as long as it is good music

Based on your experiences, what advice would you offer to someone starting out in the Music Industry?

Be sure you have the talent and you really want to do music. Also take time to study the industry you are going into 'most especially Nigeria music industry'.
Work hard and pray a lot.
